Warning Strike Forces Lufthansa To Cancel Flights
2nd July 2008 Lufthansa cancelled 40 flights on Tuesday and did not rule out further cancellations as workers carried out warning strikes to pressure the airline in a dispute over pay. The cancelled flights were mainly domestic services, as well as some intra-European flights. There were also delays to some long-haul services from Frankfurt and Munich.The carrier is due to resume talks with union representatives on Thursday.
