Virgin Atlantic Change Through Check in Policy

14th February 2006 From 1st March 2006, Virgin Atlantic will only through check passengers and through tag baggage on through tickets. Passengers who hold separate tickets will have to collect their baggage at the transfer point and re-check in for their onward flight.

Additional time for the transfer will therefore have to be allowed as the minimum connection time may not apply. Please note that Virgin Atlantic check-in desks close 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

Exceptions: Unaccompanied Minors, Groups, Reward Miles and Air Passes.
Passengers in the above categories will still be permitted to through check.
