British Airways (BA) have advised the TD Travel Group of changes to their regional British Airways CitiExpress service.
The British Airways subsidiary will be relaunched as BA Connect from 01 February 2006 and will offer a dedicated product for customers flying from UK regional airports.
From 26 March 2006, Club Europe will be withdrawn from all services and a single cabin will be provided across the network. Customers will be able to purchase a range of meals, snacks and drinks.
These changes apply to all British Airways CitiExpress services except those operating to and from London City. Services between Manchester and New York are also not included in this policy.
There will be two ticket types:
* BA Connect - a non-restricted and changeable ticket. Two million seats will be available, year- round, at the lowest prices. Travellers will also accumulate BA Miles on every fare.
* BA Connect Plus – a non-restricted and changeable ticket with airport lounge access. This fare level also allows travellers to earn Executive Club frequent flyer points and BA Miles
