UK Airport Update 05Feb
5th February 2009 Updated 05Feb (0830)Runways at Birmingham, Luton, Cardiff, Belfast City and East Midlands airports have been shut due to snow.
Heathrow: The airport is open operating a near normal service today.
Gatwick: The airport is open and operating a near normal service today.
Aberdeen: The airport is open and operating a near normal service. Passengers travelling to the Midlands and Wales are advised to contact their airline for further information as there may be delays or cancellations.
Bristol International Airport: currently operating to schedule. In the event of further snowfall we will work hard with airlines to minimise disruption to flights. Passengers are advised to check in as normal.
Edinburgh: The airport is open and operating a near normal service. Passengers travelling to the Midlands and Wales are advised to contact their airline for further information as there may be delays or cancellations.
Glasgow: The airport is open and operating a near normal service. Passengers travelling to the Midlands and Wales are advised to contact their airline for further information as there may be delays or cancellations.
Humberside: Reporting no problems.
Leeds Bradford: Reporting no problems.
Liverpool: Reporting no problems.
Manchester: Reporting no problems.
Southampton: The airport is open and operating normally.
Stansted: The airport is open and operating normally.
