The TD Travel Group Takes Gold

17th May 2006 Leeds based business travel management company, the TD Travel Group, have won the Yorkshire final of the Star Alliance Travel Industry Quiz.

The annual event sees the UK’s leading travel agents competing to determine not only who has the best understanding of world travel and travel products but also general knowledge and current events.

Simon King, TD Managing Director said:

“This win is indicative of the calibre of people we have at TD and at our Leeds office in particular. I am extremely proud of them and I am sure their clients in Leeds and West Yorkshire are.”

TD Leeds will now go on to the UK final, to be held in Manchester in June. There they will face their biggest challenge yet when they come face to face with last year’s champions, which interestingly is TD Merseyside.
