Thai Airways To Manage Bangladesh Airport
8th August 2006 Thai Airways International, Thailand's flag carrier, is taking over the management of the international airport at Chittagong, Bangladesh's second largest city, starting September 1, Dhaka civil aviation officials said Monday.Under the contract, the number of flights per week between Bangkok and Shah Amanat International Airport, located in the southeastern port city of Chittagong, are expected to increase.
Thai Airways now operates seven flights from Bangkok to the Bangladesh capital Dhaka every week.
