Stansted Industrial Action on Thursday

27th August 2008 Although the threatened strike action by Swissport staff at Stansted airport has been cancelled, industrial action is still planned for Thursday 28 August by staff of Airfield Services (who provide some baggage services to the airport).

It is understood from the contingency plans that Airfield Services have in place this will cause minimal disruption, if any, to the airport's operation.
