Second day of strikes at Paris Orly

15th October 2009 Easyjet are reporting that the general strike by Servisair staff in Paris Orly (ORY) is continuing for a second day.

Ground handlers who have lost their licence to operate from the airport have blocked the use of ground handling equipment.

Flights to Rome, Berlin, Geneva, Nice, Toulouse and Athens are already cancelled. Among companies affected by the strike are easyJet, Royal air Maroc, Atlas Blue, Air Méditerrannée, Cuban Airlines and Syrian Airlines.
