Rail: Signalling Problems on West Coast Line
6th May 2008 Virgin Trains will run a limited service with one train per hour running between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly, Liverpool Lime Street. Wolverhampton and Preston / Scotland. Virgin Trains passengers may also travel between London and Birmingham by travelling on First Great Western services to Reading and changing there, or by East Midlands Trains services to Leicester and changing there.London Midland services from London Euston will leave at 04 and 34 minutes past the hour calling at Harrow, Bushey and then all stations to Tring where they will terminate. Services from Tring to London Euston will depart at 24 and 54 minutes past the hour, calling at all stations to Watford Junction, then Bushey and Harrow. Replacement bus services will run between Tring and Northampton. London Midland passengers may use East Midlands Trains services between London St Pancras and Wellingborough and First Capital Connect services between London and Bedford.
London Overground services are not affected by this incident and will run normally between London Euston and Watford Junction.
Virgin Trains passengers may use their tickets for travel tomorrow, although those with advance purchase tickets should travel as close to their original time as possible.
It is not know how long this disruption will last.
