Greek transport strikes continue
14th February 2011 There will be no public transport in Athens on Tuesday as unions have decided to hold a 24-hour strike to coincide with Parliament voting on a bill reforming their sector.The action will begin on Monday when workers on the metros and the Kifissia-Piraeus electric railway (ISAP) will walk off the job between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
This will be followed by a 24-hour strike on all modes of transport on Tuesday.
