French unions call for another striike
10th September 2010 French trade unions called another strike on September 23 to protest against President Nicolas Sarkozy's government plans to raise the retirement age.More than one million French workers took to the streets in the last strike on 07th September. The 24-hour national stoppage disrupted flight and rail services, and closed schools.
