FCO: Travel advice following large explosion in Morocco
28th April 2011Foreign Office advises British nationals to stay away from Jema el Fna Square in Marrakech.
There has been a large explosion in Marrakech at the Argana Restaurant in Jema el Fna Square. There are reports of several deaths and some injuries. We currently advise British nationals to stay away from Jema el Fna Square.
Our consular staff have been deployed to the scene to urgently try and establish whether any British nationals are involved.
