FCO: Mount Etna eruption
13th May 2011 The UK Foreign Office have released the following update:Eruption of Mount Etna may continue to cause disruption to travel to Sicily, although it is subsiding.
After closure for 24 hours to due to volcanic ash, Catania Airport (Fontanarossa) reopened this morning 13 May and flights are expected to be regular. The eruption is now subsiding.
