Eurostar moves services from Waterloo
24th July 2007 From Wednesday, 14 November, Eurostar rail services will move from Waterloo International to St Pancras International.Located in central London (Zone 1), St Pancras International is within easy reach of the City, West End and Canary Wharf. St Pancras also offers better connections throughout the UK and will be home to a faster Eurostar.
Eurostar journeys will be on average 22 to 25 minutes quicker and services will be even more reliable and punctual, thanks to the dedicated High Speed 1 line. St Pancras International also has far better connections to London and the UK, with six Underground lines and five train operators serving St Pancras, King's Cross and nearby Euston.
Eurostar will also start services from Ebbsfleet International, located off junction 2 of the M25 near the Dartford crossing and Bluewater shopping centre in Kent. Ebbsfleet will open on November 19, offering seven trains a day to Paris and five to Brussels.
