Etihad Announce Record Passenger Numbers

17th January 2012 According to a report in Travel Weekly, Etihad Airways saw passenger numbers rise by 17% to a record of 8.29 million last year over 2010.

The United Arab Emirates airline carried almost 1.2 million additional passengers in the 12 months.

Etihad Airways’ London Heathrow - Abu Dhabi route alone saw the airline carrying 479,000 passengers. Other routes to feature in Etihad’s top ten most popular routes from Abu Dhabi include Sydney, Frankfurt, Paris, Manchester, Doha and Dublin.
