Easyjet Cancels Newcastle Flights
8th August 2006 Budget airline, Easyjet, is cancelling 29 flights from Newcastle in August because of a lack of trained staff, reports the BBC. Flights to Nice, Rome and Berlin will be affected.EasyJet said it cannot get its cabin crew security checked quickly enough to fill posts.
The airline has promised to give passengers two weeks' notice if their flight is cancelled and they will be offered a full refund if a replacement flight cannot be found.
