British Airways Increase Fuel Surcharge

30th April 2008 BA has increased fuel surcharges on all flights from 02May08. The increase, the airlines' twelfth in four years, sees prices rising by up to £30 for a return flight.

Short-haul flights will increase by GBP3 per flight taking the total surcharge to GBP26 pounds for a return.

The surcharge on long haul flights of less than nine hours will rise by from GBP53 to GBP63 per flight.

Long-haul flights of more than nine hours, the charge will rise by GBP15 pounds to GBP79 pounds per flight.
