bmi Announce New Routes
10th December 2007 bmi acquired the BMED network earlier this year and is now relaunching the 17 routes to the following destinations:* Addis Ababa
* Aleppo
* Almaty
* Amman
* Ankara
* Baku
* Beirut
* Bishkek
* Cairo
* Dakar
* Damascus
* Ekaterinburg
* Freetown
* Khartoum
* Tbilisi
* Tehran
* Yerevan
bmi have also announced a new route between East Midlands Airport and Cologne Bonn.
Starting 11 February 2008, the direct six-times a week service will provide the quickest link between the Midlands and Germany, and fills the gap left by the withdrawal of easyJet from the route.
Using modern Embraer jet aircraft on the new route, passengers can look forward to attractive business and economy fares and the renowned bmi regional service, which continues to offer complimentary in-flight refreshments to all passengers.
