BAA Airport Update 04Feb
4th February 2009 04 February 2009Our airports are beginning of return to normally following the severe snow which disrupted airports across the South of England on Monday. A small number of cancellations are expected as a knock on effect from Monday's disruption.
We recognise the disruption has been deeply frustrating for those passengers affected and appreciate their patience during the difficulties caused by these exceptional weather conditions. Passengers are advised to check with their airline for the latest information before leaving for the airport.
At a glance:
Heathrow: The airport is open and both runways operational. We're working hard with the airlines to minimise disruption and operate a near full service today. Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect rail services are operating between the airport and London Paddington.
Gatwick: The airport is open and airlines are operating a near full service today. There may be a small number of delays but passengers are advised to check-in as normal.
Stansted: The airport is open and airlines are operating a full service today. There are no cancellations.
Southampton: The airport is open and passengers are advised to check-in as normal.
Glasgow: The airport is open and operating a near normal service.
Edinburgh: The airport is open and operating a near normal service.
Aberdeen: The airport is open and operating a near normal service.
