BA to increase fuel surcharge

7th February 2011 British Airways will increase its fuel surcharge on long-haul services from Tuesday. The surcharge element of fares will rise by £12 per sector in economy – meaning £24 on a direct return flight – and £17 in the BA business class Club World and in First.

There will be no increase in the surcharge on short-haul services.
