Air France Unions Call for Strike Action on 7th March
3rd March 2006 Unions representing Air France-KLM employees in France have called for a one-day strike for March 7th 2006, in protest against a new extended-length temporary job contract created by Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin earlier this year.Flights throughout France could be delayed or canceled. The same day other large unions and student organizations plan to strike to protest employment reforms. Mass transit and travel around the country could be affected.
The unions involved are CGT, CFE-CGDC, CFDT, FO and Sud aerien.
