AA launches mobile phone boarding cards at Manchester

22nd September 2010 American Airlines customers departing from Manchester Airport (MAN) will now be able to receive their boarding passes electronically on their mobile phones.

American Airlines has now rolled the service out to Manchester after a successful trial at London Heathrow. Seven other airports around the world will also be included in this latest phase: Barcelona, Frankfurt, Milan, Italy, New York JFK, Rome, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Zürich.

Customers who check in online and wish to print a paper boarding pass are still able to do so.
