ABTA
TD Travel is a member of Abta which means you have the benefit of Abta's assistance and code of conduct. Many of the travel arrangements that we sell are protected in case of the financial failure of the travel company. Please ask us about the protection that applies to your booking.
We agree to be bound by the Abta Code which governs the relationship between you and TD Travel, and also our relationship with ABTA. Our ABTA membership number is 77074.
The Code aims to ensure that you receive the best possible service from an ABTA Travel Agent before you book your travel arrangements, through the booking process and the after-sales service and information you get, to the way they handle any complaint you may have. IATA
The purpose of IATA Accreditation is to formally recognise travel agents that are authorised to sell and issue international airline tickets.
The Accreditation process has a set of criteria that need to be achieved. They are global in nature, but modified to meet local circumstances as may be required. The criteria includes such areas as :
