Lufthansa Advise Ticket Change Policy

10th August 2006 In response to todays delays and cancellations, Lufthansa have asked TD to advise all passengers of their temporary policy on changes and refunds.

"Lufthansa is experiencing severe delays and cancellations to its operations on Thursday 10th August as a result of the current security situation. The following policy is for passengers due to travel today for flights to and from the UK.

For all restrictive tickets issued for travel on Thursday 10th August 2006, passengers may either:

1)Rebook on a Lufthansa operated flight to your original destination, subject to availability in the applicable booking class with no additional charges. Changes must be made by 17th August 2006. Travel must be completed within ticket validity. The return flight, if applicable, can be rebooked at the same time.

Or

2)Cancel their reservation at no additional charge and receive a full refund. "
