BA strike update

13th May 2010 BA have confirmed thet they intend to operate all flights to and from London City and London Gatwick.

At Heathrow, BA intend to operate more than 60 per cent of longhaul flights and more than 50 per cent of shorthaul flights in the first strike period and will add to this schedule where possible.

Meanwhile, the Unite union has called on British Airways to hold fresh talks to stop the planned 20 days of strikes and said the action could still be avoided if BA was willing to enter "meaningful negotiations".
