Civil servants strike could affect UK airports
8th March 2010 Delays are possible at Border control at airports across the UK due to industrial action by PCS members at the UK Border Agency. Passengers advised to travel as normal but expect delays passing through border control.Up to 270,000 civil servants have begun a 48-hour strike over redundancy pay, in what is the biggest unrest by the sector in more than two decades.
Courts, ports, job and tax centres and emergency police call centres are being affected by the Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) walkout.
