Lufthansa pilot strike

18th February 2010 Lufthansa pilots have confirmed they are to strike from 22 February 2010 to 25 February 2010. Lufthansa expects heavy influences to its flight operations.

Passengers already booked on a Lufthansa flight in the period from 22 to 25.02.2010 can rebook once free of charge on another Lufthansa flight, if they wish to change their travel plans – provided their ticket was issued before 18. February, the new travel date is before 31.03.2010 and no change is made in their departure and arrival destination.

Passengers due to travel should contact their local TD business travel office or Lufthansa direct. The airline has implemented a toll free number for calls within Germany: +49 (0)800 / 8 50 60 70 and the UK: 0871 945 9747.

Lufthansa regrets any inconvenience to Lufthansa passengers caused by the strike and will do its utmost to reduce the impact for travellers.
