Major problems at London Euston
7th January 2009 London Midland and Virgin services to and from Euston have been suspended after cables came down in north-west London as a train was passing through.Because of overhead wire problems at Wembley, there are no Virgin Trains or London Midland trains to and from London Euston. Journeys will be delayed by up to 90 minutes.
Virgin Trains and London Midland advise passengers not to travel unless absolutely necessary
Network Rail said it hoped to have a limited service restored by midday as engineers work to fix the problem.
