New Route Round-Up

31st August 2007 American Airlines:

American Airlines has announced plans to launch a second daily flight from London Stansted to New York JFK on April 8. The airline is launching its first daily flight on the route on October 29.

From May 2, American Airlines will also start daily non-stop flights to JFK from Milan and Barcelona.

Lufthansa:
---------------
Berlin is to become the seventh Germany city served by Lufthansa from London City Airport. Lufthansa will run two flights a day operated by regional partner Eurowings from the Docklands airport to Berlin Tegel from January 14.

Maxjet:
----------
Business-only airline Maxjet have launched a four times a week service from London Stansted to Los Angeles. Flights depart on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays leaving Stansted at 9.30am, arriving in LA at 1pm.

El Al:
--------
El Al is to launch a Monday morning flight with its refurbished 767 fleet from Heathrow to Tel Aviv. Operating between end October 2007 and end March 2008, it will compliment the existing twice daily service.

bmi:
------
bmi regional is to add an extra return flight between Aberdeen and Manchester from September 3. bmi will now operate 14 flights each weekday between the two cities.
