ANA Group Pilot Unions Threaten Strike
11th April 2007 All Nippon Airways, ANA, Japan's largest domestic carrier, have confirmed that the unions of four ANA subsidiary airlines have threatened to take 24 hour strike action commencing 00:00 hours on April 11 (Wed), to express dissatisfaction with the management stance on training.No International Flights are affected.
Air Nippon, Air Nippon Network, Air Next and Air Central will continue urgent negotiations with the unions to avoid a strike. If strike action is taken, many ANA domestic flights will be subject to cancellation or delay.
