BA Strike Flight Schedule Released

The following information has been provided by British Airways for TD Travel clients:

British Airways remains committed to pursuit of a negotiated settlement before next Tuesday but wants customers to have early warning of its flying schedule to allow sufficient time for alternative travel arrangements to be made.

We plan to operate a very limited schedule on Tuesday January 30 and Wednesday January 31, 2007 as a result of the strike action.

Please see below for flight schedule information:

Flights OUT of the UK
-----------------------
British Airways will:

* Operate no longhaul or shorthaul flights from London Heathrow during the strike period (0001 GMT on Tuesday January 30 until 2359 GMT on Wednesday January 31)
* Operate no shorthaul services from London Gatwick during the strike period
* Longhaul services from London Gatwick will operate during the strike period except flights to Tampa, Bermuda and Barbados
* Services between Manchester and New York will continue to operate as normal
* All BA Connect, franchise and alliance partner flights will continue to operate, please see details below

In addition the airline may experience further disruption to its flight schedule in the days following the strike as it seeks to recover its operation and position aircraft and crew around the world.

Flights INTO the UK
-------------------

British Airways will:

* Operate all longhaul flights into London Heathrow departing from originating airport on Tuesday 30 January
* Operate some longhaul flights into London Heathrow on Wednesday 31 January
* Operate no shorthaul services into London Heathrow during the strike period
* Operate no shorthaul services into London Gatwick during the strike period
* All longhaul services into London Gatwick will operate during the strike period except flights from Tampa, Bermuda and Barbados which will operate from their originating airport on Tuesday 30 January but may be subject to cancellation on Wednesday 31 January, please check on ba.com for details
* In addition the airline will cancel some further services into the UK in the days following the strike as it seeks to recover its operation and position aircraft and crew around the world * Services between Manchester and New York will continue to operate as normal
* All BA Connect, franchise and alliance partner flights will continue to operate, please see details below

Strike action will not affect flights operated by British Airways' subsidiary BA Connect (this includes all flights from London City) or our franchise partners, BMED, GB Airways, Loganair, SunAir and Comair. Flights from Manchester to New York JFK, codeshare flights and services operated by our oneworld partners carrying a BA flight number will continue to operate as normal

*Flights which are unaffected by potential strike action

Flights operated by our subsidiary, BA Connect, franchise partners BMED, GB Airways, SunAir and Comair as well as flights operated by our codeshare partners with a BA flight code and flights between Manchester and New York JFK are unaffected by any potential strike action (* for more information please go to the bottom of the email).
