10th January 2007 Emirates To Launch Newcastle Service---------------------------------------------------------
Emirates Airline will introduce a new daily non-stop flight between Newcastle International Airport and Dubai on September 1. The new service will be the first ever scheduled long-haul flight to operate from Newcastle.
bmi Announce New Routes

bmi have confirmed that it will start flights from Edinburgh to Zurich from March 26th and a new daily service between Aberdeen and the Norwegian city of Kristiansand. The airline also announced a daily service from Leeds Bradford airport to Copenhagen and an additional return flight between Edinburgh and Manchester to take weekday services up to seven a day.
Etihad To Launch Australia Flights

Etihad Airways has confirmed to TD that it will begin flights to Australia within the next few months from its base in Abu Dhabi. Exact details of the routes have yet to be announced.
Easyjet Announce 30 New Routes For 2007

Easyjet have confirmed that as well as starting London Gatwick to La Rochelle flights this summer they are also adding a further 30 new routes this spring and summer from its various European hubs.
From the UK, it will also launch flights to Ibiza from Glasgow, Luton, Belfast and Bristol, flights from Gatwick to Pisa and Palermo, services from Newcastle to Krakow and Mahon, from Edinburgh to Palma, Munich, and Milan, and a service from Bristol to Bordeaux.
