Manchester Airport
There are no major delays or cancellations. Passengers are advised to arrive as early as possible. Passengers should travel as normal and expect some disruption.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport
There are no major delays or cancellations. Strict security measures have been imposed and police patrols stepped up. Only passengers are allowed entry to the terminal building and all terminal pick up and drop off points have been cordoned off.

Humberside airport has warned of significant delays. Passengers are being asked to allow themselves plenty of extra time for check in.

Leeds Bradford airport has warned of significant delays. Travellers have been advised to repack in advance of their trip and arrive at the airport as early as possible for their journey.

Heathrow Airport
Heathrow is open and hopes to return to near normal operations shortly, within the new restrictions. In brief: Hand baggage restrictions are in place; Passengers will be handsearched; Footwear and all items (including pushchairs and walking aids) must be x-ray screened; Liquids will be removed from the passenger. We therefore ask anyone intending to fly today and over the weekend to arrive at the airport prepared. This means arriving with no hand luggage and bringing those items allowed into the cabin in a clear plastic bag.

The additional security restrictions will continue to have an impact on the airport's operation. However we are working hard, in conjunction with our airlines and control authorities, to deliver as normal a service as possible. Some flights will inevitably be cancelled. Therefore anyone who intends to travel in the next few days should check with their airline.
